Join Senior Curator Paul Marinari on a special tour of the SCBI Red Panda Science Facility. Paul will prepare a special themed lunch menu (accounting for any dietary restrictions) served at the Red Panda Facility. Learn about these engaging animals and find out what conservation efforts are being conducted by SCBI Scientists and Animal Care staff. Normally not open to the public, the National Zoos Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI) is a 3,200-acre site in the Shenandoah Valley, where scientists and staff are engaged in multi-disciplinary research to recover endangered species, save habitat, and restore species to the wild.
