Item Description
Shisheh embroidery, or mirror-work, is a type of embroidery which attaches small pieces of reflective metal to fabric. This type of embroidery lends a sparkling appearance to the brightly-colored clothes worn in the region, and is very popular for use on clothing, hangings, and domestic textiles.
This auction is for a piece of Shisheh that has been finished as a small table cover and measures approximately 29" square.
Vibrant golds and red and intricate embroidery will be the finishing touch in your home.
