About the artist
Anna Held Audette (1938-2013) was a distinguished painter, printmaker, and writer who worked and taught in New Haven. Her works are included in major private and corporate collections throughout the world, including the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, England, the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Puerto Rico, and the Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven.
