This impression is signed and numbered '58/100' by the Italian artist, Ossi Czinner in pencil. The 27 X 19" piece is unframed.
A contemporary painter, sculptor and lithographer, Ossi Czinner studied under Marcello Mascherini in Rome in 1946. After completion of her studies she remained in that city and began exhibiting her art there. During the following years, Ossi Czinner's art (particularly her lithographs) were regularly exhibited in such cities as Paris, Vienna, Milan, Tokyo, Chicago and New York.
A large portion of Ossi Czinner's lithographic art concentrates upon depictions and often whimsical impressions of Italy's more famous cities and landmarks. Most of her original lithographs have been printed in editions ranging from ten to two hundred impressions. "Italian Landscape View" is a large and impressive example of Ossi Czinner's landscape art.
