Item Description
Christian Radich (Cape May) is a stunning photo of a full-rigged Nowegian tall ship, photographed off Cape May, NJ, in 1975. This is original print is edition 8/48. The unframed 30 X 20" photograph is signed and numbered in ink by Jim McNitt. It is printed on Fuji Professional Crystal Silver Halide Archival Photographic Paper.
A mixed-media painter and photographer, Jim McNitt's work has appeared inTime, Newsweek, People, The New York Times, The London Times, The Los Angeles Times, Stern (Germany), Paris Match, Yachting, Sail, Boating, Rudder, Time-Life Books, Modern Photography, American Photographer, and on about 100 magazine and book covers.
Jim started out photographing for United Press International in 1974, worked as a marine photographer and magazine contributing editor from 1975 to 1982, and as a contract photographer, writer and editor for Newsweek International Special Projects from 1982 to 2002. Along the way, he had the chance to work with and observe some of the greatest photojournalists of the 20th century––including Ralph Morse and George Silk (Time-Life), and legendary marine photographer Stanley Rosenfeld.
