Item Description

Enjoy a night at The Windham Hill Inn in West Townshend, Vermont, including breakfast and afternoon tea.

From the Inn's website (www.windhamhill.com):

Tucked away on 160 rolling acres in southern Vermont’s Green Mountains, The Windham Hill Inn is a tranquil getaway featuring luxurious, country-chic accommodations, unparalleled service and amenities and panoramic views of the West River Valley.

What was built as a private farmhouse in 1825 and converted to a bed and breakfast in 1962 is now an intimate, 22-room retreat, brimming with rustic yet elegant New England character. Our uniquely designed rooms and suites are arranged in three buildings, the Main House, the White Barn and the Cottage. Each captures the essence of country living with charming period antiques, Oriental rugs and furnishings handcrafted by local artisans.

At The Windham Hill Inn you can enter another world – escape the crowds, relax and unwind in the picturesque surroundings. Ours is a place where the indoors is as appealing as the outdoors, where all the excitement you need might be a good book and a glass of wine by the fireplace. You are also welcome to explore the four-mile network of trails winding through the surrounding pine and maple forests, enjoy a swim in the brick-terraced, heated swimming pool or play a game of tennis on the native Vermont clay court.

Winner of the Wine Spectator “Best of Award of Excellence” for eight consecutive years, The Windham Hill Restaurant is acclaimed as one of Vermont’s finest eating establishments, serving contemporary presentations of classic New England and European cuisine highlighted by organic, locally sourced ingredients.

If you wish to explore the area, the Inn is a short drive from the Stratton Mountain and Mount Snow ski resorts and just forty minutes from the Manchester Designer Outlets and the quintessential New England town of historic Manchester.

The traditions of The Windham Hill Inn are steeped in gracious hospitality and warmth. We invite you to discover the perfect escape.
