A private guided tour for 12 guests of "Proust's Muse, The Countess Greffulhe", a special exhibit at the Museum of Fashion Institute of Technology, conducted by the curator at 10am, Saturday, October 22nd, 2016.
This exhibition is a collaboration of FIT and Palais Galleria (Musee' de la Mode de la Ville de Paris) which features 40 extraordinary fashions and accessories from the fabulous wardrobe of Elisabeth de Caraman-Chimay, the Countess de Greffulhe, whose beauty and elegance was one of the main inspirations for Marcel Proust's fictional character, the Duchesse de Guermantes from his novel, A la recherche du temps perdu (In Search of Lost Times).
