Jinhee Yoo

Jinhee Yoo has been a licensed acupuncturist in New York and New Jersey since 2008. Jinhee is also a nationally certified Diplomate of Acupuncture. Jinhee graduated from the prestigious acupuncture program at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, she studied biology, receiving her Bachelor’s degree from SUNY – Binghamton University. Jinhee’s strong foundation in bioscience has fueled her philosophy of an integrative medicine approach to wellness, seamlessly combining Eastern and Western schools of thought.

After graduating from PCOM, Jinhee started an acupuncture practice in Manhattan, while also managing the school’s clinic, which treated about 900 patients a week, and teaching classes to acupuncture students. Maintaining strong ties to PCOM allowed Jinhee to continue to study with master practitioners from China and the US while also developing interests in women’s health, fertility, pain management andpediatrics. In addition to her private practice, Jinhee has also worked alongside chiropractors, physical therapists, doctors, and even cosmetologists. She has success working with musculoskeletal pain, infertility, gynecological issues, emotional and psychological disorders, pediatrics, facial rejuvenation, and much more.

Jinhee is certified in the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture system, as seen in O Magazine and The New York Times, and Nefeli Facial Rejuvenation Cosmetic Acupuncture. The Mei Zen system consists of specific rejuvenation protocols for the face, neck, and abdomen. Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture also includes protocols for weight management and fertility. The Nefeli Acupuncture system focuses on facial and neck rejuvenation for the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and dark circles under the eyes. The Nefeli system uses fewer needles and employees a tonifying facial Guasha massage that stimulates collagen, making it a nice compliment to any treatment, especially for those who are needle-sensitive.

When not working at Dylan Stein Acupuncture, Jinhee enjoys volunteering in her free time. She is grateful to be able to contribute to Acupuncturists Without Borders (providing free acupuncture services in response to natural disasters, like Hurricane Sandy), Tunnel to Towers (a 9/11 charity run), and the US Open.
