Item Description

Improve your success fly fishing for trout with these two dozen original dry flies donated by renowned Wisconsin fly tier Dr. John Gribb. John's artistic tying innovation has been featured in Trout Unlimited's national 'Trout' magazine, and are as lifelike and effective as they come. These flies feature some of John's most unique fly tying components and techniques you'll be hard-pressed to find replicated anywhere else: parachute posts made from extra-buoyant poly yarn, realistic tail fibers taken from holographic ribbons, and lifelike Razor Foam bodies, and 90 degree bent hooks that ride below the surface film, increasing hook-ups.

These flies are John's original "SB Mayfly" extended-body foam dry fly pattern, in an assortment of sizes from 12-24, and various colors. They will mimic the blue-winged olive mayflies frequently found on our trout streams, all through the fishing season, as well as other mayflies found on our Wisconsin streams. The seasoned anglers who successfully fish these flies attest that they will catch you fish (even finicky spring creek browns) just about anywhere you might fish them. Don't pass up a chance to catch more trout, with a truly one-of-a-kind fly pattern
