Item Description

The Kamoka Pearl Necklace is the result of well over a decade of experience with pearls and leather. All three of the components: pearl, leather and mother-of-pearl bead, are things you can feel good about. The leather is the strongest in the world. It comes from kangaroos that are harvested to keep wild populations healthy. Kangaroos have dramatically less impact on the ozone than livestock and don't require precious farmland, making them also the most ecological leather available. This product was designed to be durable and to withstand an active lifestyle. Originally created for surfers, lovers of numerous outdoor sports have adopted it for it's simple elegance and ocean chic. This item appeals to both sexes and is a favorite amongst those who don't resonate with precious metals. It is adjustable with sliding knots though most people like to wear it so that the pearl sits in or just below the suprasternal notch in the neck. You will also receive a Pearl Shell. These highly lustrous and colorful carved blacklip Tahitian pearl shells are polished and hand-carved by an artisan on Tahiti. They can be used for displaying jewelry and other small items or to serve sauces or caviar. There are so many possible uses.
