Item Special Note
This is not only a great piece of musical history, but a great piece of American history. This concert was the defining moment of the 60's movement.
Ironically, for this festival, only a Friday ticket was actually used. Due to bad weather and crowds that far surpassed the promoters estimates, free admission was granted from Saturday until Monday morning when Jimi Hendrix closed out the festival with his rendition of The Star Spangled Banner. Therefor, the tickets were at Woodstock and were "gate" price.
