Item Description
The MOKE was created by the British Motor Company and Alec Issigonis, the father of the original Austin Mini. What began as a military invention for the British army in the late 1950s became a cultural touch point with celebrity fans like Brigitte Bardot, Princess Margaret and the Beach Boys. This open-air vehicle soon became synonymous with easy breezy island chic.
This bright yellow MOKE with radio and Bimini top becomes a priceless work of art with Donald Robertson’s (@drawbertson) hand painted design. Retail value before painted by the artist is $18,000.
(MOKE will be painted by Robertson on July 19th and available for viewing on our web site the morning of July 20th)
