Item Description
Priyanka was rescued from years of abuse and neglect as a captive begging elephant, occasionally rented out to participate in parades and weddings by Wildlife SOS in November 2017. Today she is enjoying her new life at the Elephant Care and Conservation Center with a nutritious diet and a family of elephants and humans that care about her.
Most of the elephants that have come into our care have a bell attached to a rope around their neck. We ceremoniously remove the bells to signify their freedom. The bells are auctioned off to raise money for the care of all the rescued elephants at Wildlife SOS.
