Item Description
2-3 hour Wildflower hike at Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve with trained docent. It is an amazing place and it's just at the corner of Sand Hill Rd and Portola Rd in Portola Valley, right behind the SLAC building. The spring wildflowers are spectacular and there's some very interesting geology and environmental studies happening there. Many people who have been in the area a long time know about it as Searsville Lake, due to the reservoir, which was a publicly accessible beach up until 1974, when Stanford closed it.
