Item Description

This framed giclee print of an original watercolor by beloved Vermont artist Deborah Holmes measures 8"x10" and features Camel's Hump, the third highest peak in Vermont.

Deborah lives in Bristol, Vermont in the heart of the village where she has an at-home studio and gallery. She can look out her kitchen window and see Deer Leap Mountain and walk to her favorite coffee shop. When Deborah is not painting, she loves spending time with her four grown sons, Cameron, Andrew, Sam and Lewis, all of whom live in Vermont and with good friends and her grandson, Miles. Her favorite places to paint are in the Champlain Valley, the southwest, and the Northeast Kingdom, where she lived for five years. Deborah likes to walk in the woods, swim in lakes, x-country ski and explore new places. She also enjoys reading, cooking, fixing up her new home, and live music. When she has free time, she loves going to her off-grid camper in Craftsbury, Vermont and her family’s camp in Shoreham, Vermont where she spent childhood summers.

Deborah graduated from Vassar College, where studied history and fine art. She began painting full-time after teaching at a boarding school in northern New Hampshire for several years. She has been making her living as an artist for over twenty-five years.

Deborah's work can be found in many galleries in Vermont, at her home studio/gallery in Bristol, VT or online at:
