Class Description:
Learn how to put a real bloom on your fruit and master dry brush technique by painting a selection of grapes, plums and other autumn fruit. Lizzie will show you how to make precise and sharp images using tiny brushes and almost no water. With guidance from Lizzie learn to create detail, texture and the softest waxy surface bloom.
Lizzie Sanders Bio:
Lizzie lives in Edinburgh, near the Royal Botanic Garden, where she tutors the Diploma Course in Botanical Illustration and from where she sources her specimens. Favorites are unusual, dramatic plants to be interpreted in a dynamic, contemporary style.
She has three gold medals from the RHS and in 2004 she was honored to receive the Diane Bouchier Award for excellence from ASBA.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:
A workshop space purchased through the auction with a winning bid may be purchased as a gift for an ASBA member but may not be resold. To use the workshop space, an individual must register for and attend the ASBA Silver Anniversary Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, Pa in October 2019.
In the event the winning bidder is not able to attend the conference for any reason and does not wish to give their space away, the base workshop fee will be refunded "if" the workshop space can be filled by a paying ASBA member from a waitlist. Any amount of the winning bid above the published value for that workshop will be retained as a donation to ASBA.
Any request to assign the space to another member or request a refund must be made by the close of conference registration.
