During his 24-year career, Rose was a 17 time All-Star, three-time World Series Champion, National League MVP, World Series MVP, NL Rookie of the Year, two- time Gold Glove Award winner, Silver Slugger Award winner, three- time NL batting champion, is a member of the MLB All-Century Team, had his Cincinnati Reds jersey retired, and is a member of the Reds Hall of Fame.
Rose also set five MLB records: Most Hits (4,256), Most Singles (3,215), career games played (3,562), career at-bats (14,053) and career plate appearances (15,890)
