Item Description
Time to get cozy! Sip a cup of specialty Honduran coffee while wrapping up in a beautiful handmade Honduran scarf.
This scarf is one example of the type of handmade items that are produced in northern Honduras to be sold to both locals and travelers. Along with basketry, leatherwork, and pottery, woven textiles are traditional products in the region surrounding San Pedro Sula, where this scarf was purchased by CGP professor Cindy Falk. The bright colors echo the colors of native flowers and the national bird, the Scarlet Macaw. The lightweight scarf features an open weave and measures 13" wide and 62" long with fringe.
Café Azacualpa Selection is shade-grown within the Merendón mountain range in the coffee-growing community of Azacualpe. The one pound bag is delicately ground and sealed for freshness.
