The Palm Court within the historic Drake Hotel offers daily English afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, fruit breads, scones and French pastries with the heavenly sounds of a live harp dancing in the background. Cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres are also served daily. In 1958 the Queen Elizabeth enjoyed high tea at Palm Court and since that time guests have included Diana the Princess of Wales and the Empress of Japan.
