Item Description
Contemporary gouache paintings on papyrus and issued by The Franklin Mint. The first colorful work, a horizontal titled, The Tutankhamun Papyrus, depicts the famed Egyptian king on his throne with a female in his company as he hunts fowl with his bow and arrow. The second, a vertical, is The Nefertiti Papyrus and depicts a royal scene from the life of Queen Nefertiti. The paintings are double matted, pressed between two sheets of plexiglass, and housed in a black acrylic on wood frame with polished gold tone metal brackets at the corners. Each piece measures 31" by 24 ½" by 1" deep. The Tutankhamun weighs 10 lbs. 1.5 oz. and the Nefertiti weighs 8 lbs. 13 oz.
