Item Description
Artwork Title: The Glass Bass
Artist: Seth Goodling
All information was provided by the artist in their own words.
Materials: "Hyper Striper" artwork is about 3 ft. wide x 1 ft. tall and made of .5 in. Versatex (PVC). Soldered stained glass.
Description: This piece, The Glass Bass, was inspired by the colors of the ocean steps from where we live. The use of stained glass as a medium allows for the colors to be reflected even more as the light filters through. The subtleness of the zip code gives a nod to our hometown of Beverly. As an artist I very much enjoy working with stained glass and the creativity it allows through color and shape. This artwork consists of 116 individual stained glass pieces and can be hung up as there are hooks on the back of it or could be placed on a stand.
About the Artist: Seth Goodling, a Beverly-based artist, works with a variety of mediums such as painting, stained glass, hand made jewelry and more. Seth is a self-taught artist and owner of Xact Studio with a focus on natural art.
