Item Description
This piece was inspired by a Cooper's hawk sitting in a tree in my backyard, intently watching song birds at the bird feeder.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am a retired fisheries biologist. In 1990 I began carving hardwoods after taking a wood carving course from Bob Butler.
This work is on display now in the gallery space at 3 Dots Downtown! Visit during open hours (noon-5 Tuesday-Sunday) to view this and more pieces donated by local artists for this year's Art & Chocolate auction.
