Item Description
Mixed media
21.5" x 21.5" x 1.25"
Karole Nicholson works in mixed media and pastel engaging a contemporary approach to expressing herself on canvas and paper. Texture, a dynamic palette and an abstract view of the environment are the components that draw her into developing each painting. She exhibits her work as a member at the Providence Art Club, AAM, North River Arts Society and the Next Door Gallery. She holds membership in the Collage Association of America and the Abstract'd Art Collective.
"Imagining Hope" is a painting that speaks to the greater need to recognize hope in our world and in our immediate environment. The landscape often speaks to our concerns. Metaphorically, the ray of light peeking through the darkened sky, illuminating a slice of land is a shining example of the hope we seek in these shifting times.
