Item Description
This ornately embellished silverplate teapot is in excellent condition for decoration or display, but no longer functional for brewing or serving tea. An interesting feature is the Scot famiy crest engraved on either side of the pot. In Latin it reads "Amo Pudenter" which translates to "Love Wisely". A conversation piece from the dining tables of a bygone era.
Details: The tilting teapot measures 15" high with handle, 14" long from spout tip to end of pot. Pot is 30" in diameter, and base is 7" square.
