Item Description
Vintage brooch or pendant is "hecho in Mexico" in the 60's or 70's. The crouching Jaguar is surrounded by an irridescent mosaic of mother of pearl on a black background. The jaguar is somehow fierce and cute at the same time.
The brooch is not sterling but an alloy called "Alpaca Silver"--a combination of copper 60%, nickel 20% and zinc 20%. Measures approximately 1 1/4" in diameter. Condition is excellent.
