Item Description
Brighten your spring and learn how to make beautiful colored Easter eggs using traditional European egg decorating techniques. Once you learn how, you will want to revisit this wonderful tradition every year, it is so addictive and relaxing!
Workshop participants will learn the wax batik method (also known by its Ukrainian name, pysanky), the leaf stencil method using all natural materials, and the scrimshaw method. No experience is necessary; all supplies, including design templates and ideas, will be provided (although it's a good idea to bring an empty egg carton or some other container in which to take home your finished eggs).
The workshop is limited to 12 people ages 13+, and will be held in the Upper Gathering Hall. Light refreshments will be provided.
