Item Description

Frosthaven Game Bundle from Astral Comics and Games

"Frosthaven" is a standalone adventure set in a remote outpost called Frosthaven, north of the capital city of White Oak. The outpost is on the brink of destruction, facing harsh weather and invasions from various threats. A group of mercenaries is tasked with saving the settlement. They must contend with dangerous elements, including Algox, Inox's larger yeti-like cousins, and Lurkers from the northern sea. Rumors of wandering machines add to the challenges. The mercenaries must confront these perils and forge alliances with new races to combat even more sinister forces.

The game offers sixteen new characters, three new races, over twenty new enemies, more than one hundred new items, and a 100-scenario campaign. Characters and items from "Gloomhaven" can be used in "Frosthaven" and vice versa. The game retains the combat mechanics of "Gloomhaven" but expands gameplay with mysteries to solve, a seasonal event system, and player control over village expansion, with each building providing new progression options.

In "Frosthaven," there is a new set of items, and a mechanic allows items to be brought over from "Gloomhaven," although they need to be imported due to the remote location. Resources are more valuable, and players must use a crafting system to create items instead of purchasing them.
