Item Description
Handmade [DIMENSIONS] quilt designed, decorated and constructed by Mrs. Tyler's 5th grade class.
As part of a class assignment, students were divided into groups (similar to the U.S. colonies) and had to each design a proposed class seal. Each group then sent a representative to meet with other representatives to agree upon one seal for the entire class. The exercise simulated the development of the U.S. Constitution and resulted in an exciting 5th grade class seal which is prominently featured in the quilt.
Other squares were designed and decorated by the students of the 5th grade class and assembled by several of the parent volunteers with exquisite detail and love.
