Item Description

Original oil painting by Karen Tarlton. 24” x 30” unframed, 29” x 35” framed. Hand-signed certificate of authenticity included.

Description:

The bohemian heart of Paris, Place du Tertre is a vivid mix of poetry clubs, coffeehouses and working artists, known for the gaiety of its night life.

Palette knife provides texture and brushwork gives fine detail creating energetic bursts of color and light.  Broad, sweeping strokes generate a feeling of romance and a dramatic visual journey.  Stunning color and painterly lyricism accentuate the thick, impasto texture.

Painted on 3/4'' thick gallery wrapped canvas using highest quality artist oils.  Painting continues around the sides making framing optional.  This painting would make a great addition to any art collection.
