Artist Tom Block created the Human Rights Painting Project to highlight the struggle for human rights the world over- and to emphasize the important role that Amnesty international plays in working toward that goal. Using a contemporary artistic approach, Tom interprets various aspects of the struggle for human rights, based upon some of the countless stories that bring it to life. The biography of each person featured in the project accompanies the paintings. View more of this series at www.humarightspaintingproject.com
