Clyde Paton has pursued a double career in the arts. For over four decades he worked in major art museums including the Art Institute of Chicago and the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Concurrently he worked as an artist, always carrying a sketch book and drawing voluminously. His subjects cover the broad spectrum of life in modern day America focused on every day items and objects of life enhanced by an insight that sees them as more than ordinary.
