So fetch! Today is Regina’s first birthday! 🎉 She’s not like a regular penguin; she’s a cool penguin. 🐧 Named after Regina George from the movie Mean Girls, here’s a throwback of Regina adventuring behind the scenes as a fluffy chick. And yes, on Wednesdays, she wears pink (and every day) with her fetch ID bracelet. 💖 Regina is really a huge deal, and can’t help it that she’s popular. Happy first birthday, Regina! 🎂
Green-winged macaws Caper and Quito "sharing" fresh watermelon treats. 🍉

These vibrant beauties, native to the lush tropics of North and South America, are the largest parrots around. With their dazzling colors and spectacularly long tails, macaws are sure to brighten up any day! 🦜 #WorldParrotDay

Hi, Matia! 👋 Matia was born in 2004 to a mother who was rescued while pregnant and unable to care for her. Matia’s very smart and our oldest sea lion at age 20. 🦭 #WorldSeaLionDay

Happy #WorldSeaLionDay from rescued sea lions, Boomer and Eloise! 🦭 Eloise and Boomer have continued to thrive since arriving in 2019. Both sea lions were found orphaned in the wild as pups. As orphans, they both had a rough start in life and would not have survived without expert human care. We are so happy to provide the playful pair a loving home. ❤️
Happy #WorldSeaLionDay! Our sea lions are fed sustainable fresh seafood, such as herring, capelin, and squid, multiple times a day. Boomer has grown into a steady and consistent learner, excelling in his training and continuing to enjoy learning new things. Boomer was found orphaned in the wild as a pup. The rescued sea lion now weighs 254 pounds and continues to thrive. 🦭
