Hi, Struggling to find something (I know, I'm late!) in Wisconsin (Dells, Door, Lake Geneva) for 4 adults and 4 kids that is either on a lake or has a private pool. Outside of AirBNB and VRBO, anyone have recos for the first weekend in August? -

Old Irving and Portage Park are nice neighborhoods but they feel suburban to me because you have to drive to a lot of places. I don't know what the neighborhood schools are like but the families I know who live there all send their kids to private or magnet/selective enrollment. I hate driving on the highway during rush hour and the airplane noise would drive me crazy but that's just my personal preference. There are some beautiful homes and parks though. -

If you go the retroactive route, what do you do if you end up in the dr office or hospital? Can you use your same insurance card and will they take it? Or do you need to call and pay for it before it would start? Sorry if these are silly questions!
