Welcome to Montcalm Area ISD

Located in the heart of Montcalm County, we are an educational service agency supporting  seven local districts, one public school academy, and one virtual school.  We proudly serve our school communities and more than 12,000 students in Montcalm County. 

MAISD is home to Montcalm Area Career Center, Montcalm Transition Center, Seiter Education Center, and the Hamler Administration Building.  We offer CTE Programs, Early College, Early Childhood Services, Early On Services, Instructional Services, Local Center Programs, and Special Education Services.

Preschool Application High quality early education experiences are critical to every young child's development. Children who have high quality experiences are more successful later in life. In Ionia & Montcalm County, the Joint Recruitment system was developed to ensure that federal and state guidelines are being followed regarding enrollment and recruitment of all age eligible preschoolers. This also ensures that our system can service as many age eligible children as possible with free and/or low cost quality preschool. Preschool Application

Annual Education Reports

The Annual Education Report (AER) provides key information about the educational progress on the complex reporting of information required by federal and state laws. The reports contain information about student assessment, accountability and teacher quality. We have three AERs available  to parents and the community.
