    Student-run economics conference attracts financial and business leaders in Miami

    RE students interested in entrepreneurship organized an executive roundtable at the Lewis Family Auditorium that included five of the most respected financial and business leaders in Miami. Ken Griffin, CEO of Citadel; Edgardo Defortuna, CEO of Fortune International; Daniel Sundheim, CEO of D1 Capital; Leon Shaulov, CEO of Maplelane Capital; and Wade Davis, CEO of Univision joined Miami Venturing Entrepeneurs President Eduardo Michelsen '25 at the conclusion of the South Florida Economic Ransom Everglades conference.

  • Ransom Everglades celebrate the diversity of the RE middle school community at the Cultural Fusion Festival

    Ransom Everglades celebrated the cultural and ethnic diversity of its middle school students and professional community with a vibrant Cultural Fusion Festival on May 3 featuring live performances and 24 booths adorned with nations' flags, artifacts and decorations. The colorful booths, which were manned by RE parents and community members, offered delicious bites and lined the entry to the middle school and path to the Dell, providing a vibrant promenade for students as they left the assembly in the gymnasium to enjoy the mid-day break.

  • Seniors planning to major in STEM fields

    The Class of 2024 prepares to depart to 69 colleges in 22 states and five countries

    RE’s Class of 2024 will be matriculating at 69 colleges and universities in 22 states (and the District of Columbia) and five countries in 2024-25. Ransom Everglades seniors not only will attend traditionally sought-after schools – they received acceptances to all of the Ivy League schools, MIT and Stanford – they also will matriculate at highly selective liberal arts colleges, acclaimed public research institutions, extremely competitive drama/music schools, highly regarded international institutions and universities with renowned specialty programs.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
