The FRESH FOCUS Online Photography Auction Is Now Open!
The online portion of Fresh Focus 2014 is now open. The auction will run from October 1, 2014 until 10pm PDT on October 18, 2014, with the live event taking place in the afternoon on October 19, 2014 (details below).
Proceeds support City Hearts: Kids Say Yes to the Arts, providing visual and performing arts classes at no cost to at-risk children in the greater Los Angeles area. City Hearts offers children a supportive, creative environment, and by doing so helps them break the cycle of abuse, poverty, and violence in their lives.
Auction Particulars: Fresh Focus: The Story Behind the Shot brings together two of City Hearts’ most important concerns – Literacy and the Arts. Each of the photographs donated by the 50-plus Fine Art and Emerging Photographers has a unique story to tell – in picture and words.

What: "Fresh Focus: The Story Behind the Shot," City Hearts’ 3rd Annual Benefit Photography Auction and Fundraiser featuring Fine Art Photographers, and Emerging Artists from City Hearts’ Fresh Focus: A New Shot at Life photography program.
When: Fresh Focus 2014 begins as an online bidding event on October 1, 2014, and culminates in an afternoon with Art and Artists, Sunday, October 19, 2014, 2:30-5:00 PM.
Where: The live auction will take place at the Old Stagecoach Ranch in Topanga Canyon, an historic location with a Rock ‘n Roll past. This exclusive property is rarely open to the public.

The Sunday, October 19th afternoon event will bring together artists, art, and art lovers, and will feature exquisite hors d’ouevres and desserts provided by Chefs from Sam’s by the Beach and Pedalars Fork. Wine will be provided by Girl Meets Grape, as well as a specialty fall cocktail from Los Angeles-based EVOL Spirits.
