Make Your Bid and Support Future Chefs

Now is your chance to not only be a part of a one-of-a-kind experience, but do it knowing you are helping support Greater Boston youth.

Young people who are engaged early in a career path are more likely to become contributing members of our community. In partnerships with educators and employers, our programs put students on a track to maintain stable jobs with living wages. Future Chefs provides opportunites for youth through the following programs:

Culinary Pathways and Culinary Success

High School students who are interested in the culinary arts participate in classes and begin thinking about a career goal. They attend planning workshops, individual coaching sessions, industry events, and chef demonstrations to help develop job readiness skills, financial literacy, health and wellbeing.

Future Chefs Delivers

Future Chefs Delivers engages youth aged 18-24 who are not in school and are not working by providing a paid position to train in culinary arts. We work closely with other nonprofit organizations and provide meals to those in need.

Apprenticeship

This program provides the high-end Boston restaurant industry with a much-needed pipeline of qualified workers. Young people are given a cost-effective alternative to culinary school through employment opportunities in a thriving industry.
