Our online auction catalog contains a unique assortment of auction items that are available for purchase through online bidding. In most cases, the leading bid for an auction item will become the winning bid once our online auction closes. However, there is an exception. If the auction item includes the option to Buy Now, you can stop the bidding process, and purchase the item immediately.
If you are not ready to participate in our online auction, but enjoy watching the bidding process of others, you can select items from our auction catalog to watch. Whenever you select to watch an item, you will automatically receive email notifications each time a new bid is placed for the item, up until our online auction closes, and there is a winner for the auction item.
There are several ways to display the items in our online auction catalog. You can:
Once you find an item of special interest, click the item title link next to the auction item. The Auction Item page appears. From this page, you can place a bid, add a watch, and if the option is available, buy an item now. There are several bidding features available, including proxy bidding and straight bidding, reserve prices, absentee bidding, and bid extension. You may see some or all of these features on a particular auction.
A panel of auction community service buttons can also be found to the left of each auction page. Each button provides a special feature that you can use to provide additional support to our online auction. These buttons include:
