Instructions on how to place a bid on an item in our online auction catalog are as follows:
You must be a registered auction participant before you can bid on an item. If you have not already done so, please take a moment to join our auction. If you have already joined our auction, but have not given us your credit card information, you will still need to provide your billing information before you can complete the bidding process.
From the online auction catalog, click the item that you want to place a bid on during the online auction.
The Auction Item page appears.
Click the Bid on Item button at the top of the page.
The Place Your Bid page appears, displaying the current leading bid and minimum acceptable bid for this auction item. There is also a My Maximum Bid field for you to enter your maximum bid for this auction item, and in some cases, the option to select whether you want to place a proxy or straight bid.
Enter your bid amount in the My Maximum Bid field at the top of the page.
Decide whether you want to place a Proxy Bid or a Straight Bid
Click the Bid on Item button.
The Item Bid Status page appears, indicating that your bid has been successfully registered.
Click the Done button to return to the Auction Item page.
