HBO's Treme is excited to host the 3rd annual "My Darlin' New Orleans" Auction and Celebrity Gala set for Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Generations Hall in New Orleans. This unique red carpet event will benefit Sweet Home New Orleans, The Roots of Music, and the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and Assistance Fund.
Starting on March 9, 2012, "My Darlin' New Orleans" will begin auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for our three non-profit organizations

My Darlin' New Orleans Auction and Celebrity Gala will benefit three amazing New Orleans-based non-profit organizations: Sweet Home New Orleans, The Roots of Music, and the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and Assistance Foundation.
Sweet Home New Orleans, The Roots of Music, The New Orleans Musicians’ and Assistance Foundation, are all 501 (c) (3) non-profit organizations. Sweet Home New Orleans, which recently relocated their offices to the New Orleans Healing Center on St. Claude Avenue, is a one-stop service center, supporting the revitalization and sustainability of music and cultural community through individual case management, counseling, legal assistance and music business education. The Roots of Music, a 2009 CNN Hero of the Year Award finalist, provides local youth with an escape from violence, instability and chaos while enriching their lives with music and possibly preparing them for a career in the music industry. The New Orleans Musicians Clinic and Assistance Foundation, which manages the Emergency Fund and Gig Fund for members, provides medical and social services to local musicians and tradition bearers unable to access healthcare through traditional means.
