The 14th Annual WWJ Newsradio 950 Winter Survival Radiothon Auction for THAW is available from Monday, February 6th at 6 am - Monday, February 13th at 6 pm.
Welcome.... and thank you for visiting the 14th Annual WWJ Newsradio 950 Winter Survival Radiothon Online Auction to benefit The Heat And Warmth Fund (THAW).
Michigan winters are unpredictable- they can be bitterly cold and blustery, or mild and damp like this past year- but the reality of families, children and seniors who struggle to pay their utility bills does not fluctuate with the weather.
Nearly 70% of households assisted by THAW include a child or senior. Seniors are particularly vulnerable to the dangers associated with living without electricity and heat, especially when they have medical conditions that require constant monitoring. THAW works tirelessly- in any weather- to provide energy assistance that keeps families healthy and safe.
Please enjoy perusing for items on our auction site knowing that every dollar you spend will help a family in need stay healthy, safe and warm this winter!
THE AUCTION RUNS FROM 6 AM MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH - 6 PM MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH, 2016.
Winners will be notified by email at the close of the auction.
Please note, we will mail certificates, tickets, gift cards or anything else of that nature once the required paperwork is completed. Larger items such as baskets, artwork, sports memorabilia, jewelry, or any item that cannot fit in a standard envelope must be picked up in THAW office. THAW is located at 535 Griswold Street, Suite 200, Detroit MI 48226. If requested, items can be shipped for an additional fee.
The pick up days for the Physical items will be FEBRUARY 15TH -17th from 9AM – 5 PM. If you are unable to pick up your items in this time frame, additional arrangements for pick up will need to be made.
