The Online Auction is Open!
The Verdugo Woodlands Elementary School Annual Gala & Fundraiser "Gala 24" is now open. The auction will run from January 25, 2024 to February 15, 2024, with proceeds going to W.A.V.E. in order to support arts, science, and technology programs for Verdugo Woodlands students. Auction items range from summer camps, classes, theme park tickets, sporting events, vacation getaways, to local business gift certificates. About the W.A.V.E. Foundation
Woodlanders Are Volunteers for Education (W.A.V.E.) is a parent-volunteer run nonprofit organization dedicated to funding educational and arts programs at Verdugo Woodlands Elementary School. Grades K-6 have opportunities to explore music, visual and performing arts, science, technology, and engineering. W.A.V.E. Foundation grants have additionally paid for instruction, equipment, and materials to ensure accessibility to all students regardless of financial status. The Foundation also funds integral support roles such as dedicated reading intervention specialists assigned to work with students who need one-on-one guidance to reach required skill levels, care counselors, and computer lab staff.
