PS139 Brooklyn Parents Association Auction Fundraiser: Online & Live Event
PS139 is a vibrant, welcoming public elementary school (pre-k to 5th grade) in Brooklyn New York where students from different backgrounds, representing over 20 languages, learn together, play together, and grow together. We are a Title 1 school, which means that a significant portion of our children come from low income families and as such, the school faces financial challenges when developing programming for its student body. The PS139 Parents Association (PA) is a nonprofit organization that is focused on funding amazing school programs and events, and provides teachers and students with essential classroom resources. Recent donations have funded laptop computers, musical instruments, a community garden, enrichment activities and after-school programs.
Each year the PS139 PA carries out a variety of fundraisers to raise the capital necessary to support the students and families who are a part of our school community. Our mission is to expand educational and enrichment school programs so that more and more students can benefit from it, and to do so we need to increase the number and amount of financial contributions each and every year.
Starting on Friday January 25, 2019, the PS139 PA will be auctioning off a number of fun, creative and unique items to bid on to raise money for our school. The more items we have, the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help. You can help by either donating goods and/or services to our Auction, or by bidding on items we are auctioning off. Thank you!

Whether you have 1 item or 100 to contribute, your participation is an invaluable part of our fundraising efforts. By donating an item or service directly online, you'll be helping to raise money for our school, and you'll receive a mention on our site that can link back to your own web page.

PS139's first Winter Party and Live Auction is a great opportunity to socialize with your friends in the school community including parents, families, teachers and staff; enjoy live music, a DJ, great food and delicious beer and wine; and of course to participate in our Live Auction where you can bid on your favorite items and contribute even more to the school financially. The Party will take place on February 8th from 6:30 to 9:30, at the Beverley Social Club, a warm and inviting local events space in a historic Ditmas Park house.
Tickets are $25 and include finger food and 2 drinks.
