Sonoma-Cutrer 2012 Winemaker's Release Founders Reserve LEGACY Chardonnay Russian River Valley, Sonoma, California
Each year Sonoma-Cutrer designates a few barrels as their ‘best of the best’ and blends them into a cuvée to create their most special wine, Founders Reserve Chardonnay. For the 2012 vintage, they brought together their past and present head winemakers – Bill Bonetti, Terry Adams and Mick Schroeter – and asked them to craft a unique cuvée that captures the essence of Sonoma-Cutrer. The winemakers’ artistic talents and passion for creating the finest Chardonnay in the world have given Sonoma-Cutrer its Legacy.
To celebrate Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area’s Wishes in Wine Country event on May 17, Sonoma-Cutrer is pre-releasing a limited number of cases of Founders Reserve Legacy. 750ml bottles are being offered for sale here for $65 (+ shipping and sales tax as outlined below) with 100% of proceeds being donated to Make-A-Wish.
Each shipment includes a certificate of authenticity, a letter from the winemakers and tasting notes.
Please Note: Legacy is currently in production and will ship on June 9, 2014.
Shipping: Legacy wine will ship on June 9, 2014 from California. Shipping will be added to your total at the flat rate of $20 for 1-3 bottles or $30 for 4-6.)
Sales Tax: Sales tax will be added to your total (not including shipping) at the rate of 8.25%.
