Girls Incorporated of New Hampshire 25th Annual Auction is NOW OPEN!!
Welcome to the 25th anniversary of our Girls Inc. Auction! Many things have changed over the years, but Girls Inc of New Hampshire has grown with the times. In the early years, we were very small serving only 40 girls a day in one location. Generous bidders like you, supported our efforts to reach girls all across the state. Today we serve over 2,000 girls through our girls’ centers (located in Nashua, Concord and Manchester) and our school based programs from the Seacoast to Keene and from Nashua to Hanover. We empower girls to deal with “mean girls”, poor body image, cyber bullying, poverty and fear of failing. We motivate girls to go to college, enter non-traditional careers and achieve their personal best. We provide afterschool, summer camp and dinner club programs and you helped make it all happen!
You began your support by watching our TV auctions and you moved on with us to the online auction, followed by our live event that is our signature event today. Last year you helped us to raise $185,000. Our goal this year is to raise $250,000. We have items you need and items you are sure to want! We are known for our Red Sox tickets, exciting trips, one-of-a-kind experiences and items. Do not miss this great opportunity to have fun and support girls of New Hampshire.
The Online Auction is now open and runs until 8pm on April 30, 2014. The Online Auction will culminate with an exciting Live Gala and Silent Auction Event at The Castleton on Friday, May 2, 2014. Many items will be sold to the highest bidder, online, by April 30th - and other items will carry over to the May 2nd live event. Mobile bidding is new to our auction this year allowing online bidders to continue to bid on Silent Auction items at our live event. Bidders at the event will need to pre-register before the event to bid from their mobile device. Registration and checkout will be streamlined and quick!
