This online-only auction contains around 100 great items, ranging from $19 (at the beginning of the list) to $400 at the top end. All of these items will be sold to the highest ONLINE bidder. Bidding is open to the public, and will close on April 17th, when the winning bidders will be declared!
Proceeds benefit the nonprofit education missions of the Alliance Française of Portland (Oregon), including scholarships, and its event partner, the French American Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest. Note that the following applies: 1) Most items in the auction can be mailed within the U.S. (certificates, gift cards). 2) Tangible items can be picked up at the Alliance in Portland, Oregon. We'll ship tangible items to continental U.S. destinations; the winning bidder will pay the UPS shipping fees. 3) Bidders must be 21 and over. 4) Certificates/cards are not redeemable for cash. 5) Acceptable cards for payment are Visa and MC.
Note that bidders have the option to bid slightly over value (the Buy It Now price). That closes the sale and moves the item to the Closed Items folder. For tax purposes, the amount paid over value can count as a charitable donation (we have 501c3 status).
