The Huntington Theatre Company announces the 2013 Spotlight Spectacular!
Once again the Huntington is offering fantastic auction items for online bidding, plus previews of items available exclusively at the event: the Huntington's 2013 Spotlight Spectacular Gala benefit.
Please join us in honoring longtime supporters Douglas & Judi Krupp, as well as David Cromer, the acclaimed director of OUR TOWN at the Huntington. Susan B. Kaplan will serve as this year's Event Chair, alongside Leadership Committee Chairs Nancy & Mark Belsky and Liz & George Krupp.
Proceeds from this evening's event help to support the Huntington's award-winning youth, education, and community initiatives, which reach more than 25,000 annually through our Student Matinee Series, Poetry Out Loud and August Wilson Monologue Competition programs, and our partnership with Codman Academy Charter Public School, and free or reduced-cost access programs. These dynamic programs help the Huntington engage the next generation of theatre artists and bring live theatre experiences to under-served members of our community.
