From humble beginnings at a pub in San Rafael, the Mayflower Chorus has been part of Marin County’s cultural community since 1980.  Known for presenting a wide variety of music, the 40-voice chorus encourages its members to grow musically as part of a fun-loving ensemble.  Directed by Daniel Canosa and assisted by accompanist David Manley, the chorus has performed in the Czech Republic and Portugal, and is planning a concert tour of Ireland in spring 2013.   The Mayflower Choral Society, non-profit parent organization of the Mayflower Chorus, provides scholarships to students to help them advance their musical studies and careers.  For more information, call 415-491-9110 or visit www.MayflowerChorus.org.
