Welcome.... and thank you for visiting the 10th Annual Online Auction to benefit The Heat And Warmth Fund (THAW). 

WARM A HOME...WARM A HEART!

We would like to thank all the businesses who have generously donated to the auction.  While their focus of parterning with THAW is to increase advocacy and funds, it also sends a powerful message regarding their commitment to the health and safety of our entire community.

Every dollar raised by this Auction with help THAW provide emergency utility assistance to families facing a serious financial crisis.  Your donations will help keep Michigan families warm this winter.

NEW ITEMS WILL BE ADDED DAILY SO PLEASE CHECK BACK OFTEN!!! THE AUCTION RUNS FROM 6 AM TUESDAY, JANUARY 29th - 6 PM MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH, 2013.

WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL AT THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION. PLEASE NOTE:  ALL ITEMS (NOT CERTIFICATES) WILL NEED TO BE PICKED UP IN PERSON AT A SPECIFIC LOCATION THIS YEAR.  THE LOCATION IS:

THE PICK UP DAY FOR THE ITEMS WILL BE  FEBRUARY 6TH, 7TH AND 8TH FROM 9AM – 5 PM.   IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PICK UP YOUR ITEMS IN THIS TIMEFRAME, ALL ITEMS WILL BE BROUGHT TO THAW WHOSE OFFICES ARE LOCATED DOWNTOWN AND ARRANGEMENTS WILL NEED TO BE MADE FOR PICK UP. 

WE ARE NOT RELEASING ANY ITEMS UNTIL FEBRUARY 6TH.  (ITEMS OR CERTIFICATES)

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE WON A GIFT CERTIFICATE, TICKETS OR ANYTHING OF THAT NATURE, WE WILL MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH YOU TO MAIL YOUR ITEM AFTER THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK IS SIGNED.   

WE WILL NOT BE SHIPPING ANY ITEMS THIS YEAR….. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

HAVING HEAT...it's something most of us take for granted....

The Heat and Warmth Fund’s core focus is keeping Michigan residents safe and warm through the cold winter months. THAW is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) agency that provides energy assistance to low-income individuals and families throughout Michigan who are facing a crisis.

Since THAW’s inception in 1985, they have provided more than $110 million in assistance to more than 164,000 Michigan residents in need. Individuals or families who are in danger of losing essential heat or lights may apply for assistance at one of THAW's screening sites throughout the state.

THAW collaborates with partners to deliver services that support long-term affordable energy solutions for the low-income customer. Partners include community-based organizations, local government agencies, foundations, utility partners, corporations, and the public.

THAW is funded by government grants community and corporate foundations public and corporate support.
