Jewish Family Services of Greenwich is getting ready for Spring Soiree.
On Sunday, May 4th, Jewish Family Services of Greenwich will be hosting our 2014 Annual Benefit, Spring Soiree, at the Tomes Higgins House in Greenwich. Patrons will enjoy cocktails and dinner, and a select silent auction. Come one, come all and tell your friends!
JFS of Greenwich, founded in 1983, is a non-discriminatory social service agency committed to improving the quality of life for families and individuals of all ages in the local community while embracing Jewish tradition, wisdom and compassion. Among its many programs, JFS offers mental health counseling and divorce and bereavement support on a sliding-scale basis for adults and children who live in the Greenwich area. JFS also runs Supermarketing for Seniors, a free service that provides grocery shopping and case management to the homebound elderly in Greenwich. Since its inception in 1986, Supermarketing for Seniors has served thousands of needy Greenwich senior citizens of all religious backgrounds. This year, JFS Greenwich has introduced on-line support groups adapted for individuals who may find it difficult to physically attend group meetings.
Starting on April 17, 2014, Jewish Family Services of Greenwich will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to raise money for our organization - and the more money we raise, the more we can do in our community.
